Introducing the
GCUSB-nFOCUS

2010)
A new design that allows you to control your RigelSys nFOCUS directly from your PC or MAC via USB interface.
Developed in cooperation with RigelSys, Leon has added an external port to the nFOCUS controller that allows the direct control of the native focus capabilities of the nFOCUS. No special nFOCUS adjustments required, your manual settings need not change.
The GC USB-ST4 provides the base hardware platform for the GCUSB-nFOCUS. The output was modified to interface to the new nFOCUS input port and firmware adapted to focus control. The ASCOM code base is from the GC 909 that used stepper motors via ASCOM.
The GCUSB-nFOCUS output plugs directly into this input on the nFOCUS.

Full ASCOM support is provided for higher level programs to control the nFOCUS or you can use the GCUSB-nFOCUS graphic handbox standalone to control the nFOCUS.
